Orthotics: Your Feet Support Your Body!

WHAT ARE ORTHOTICS?

Simply put, orthotics are inserts for your shoes. The difference between the flimsy, standardized inserts that come with most shoes is that our orthotics are customized to your feet. By taking into account the individual nuances and structural variations that are unique to you, we can make a shoe insert that optimizes the mechanical functioning of your feet, allowing your feet to do their job — absorb shock.

This is good news for your tired spine, knees and hips, as they can now concentrate on their own jobs and no longer have to absorb the shock that the feet didn’t. The result — your adjustments will last longer, and you’ll feel better.

And because our doctors, trained in extremity adjusting, are creating the orthotic (as opposed to a podiatrist or orthopedist), you can be sure that the 26 bones in each foot and ankle will be properly adjusted before any impression is made in our special foam casting kits, giving your feet the best advantage possible. Because it just doesn’t make sense to invest in an orthotic that was formed from a misaligned foot and ankle.

COULD YOU BENEFIT FROM WEARING ORTHOTICS?

Quiz yourself, and see if you agree with any of the statements below. If you do, please ask us how custom orthotics could make you feel better, from the ground up.

  1. My feet are sore on a regular basis.
  2. I spend a good portion of my day standing or walking on hard surfaces.
  3. I play sports regularly (tennis, golf, running, etc.).
  4. Standing, walking, or running gives me joint pain (ankles, knees, hips, or back).
  5. I am over 40 years old.
  6. I have visible foot problems (bunions, fallen arches, corns, etc.).
  7. One of my legs is shorter than the other.
  8. I have knock-knees or bow-legs.
  9. My shoes wear out quickly or unevenly.
  10. My feet "toe out" when I walk.
