2011 - 2012
Workshops/Lecture Series, ongoing
We are dedicated to the goal of educating our community on the benefits of keeping our bodies healthy. We are pleased to provide free lectures on a variety of topics, which we hope will empower you to play an active role in the prevention, treatment, and healing of injuries. You do not have to be a patient to attend. Please call either the Yardley office at 215-369-0320 or the Lawrenceville office at 609-912-0440 for a schedule of workshops.
A Women's Place, December 2011
The Yardley office asked patients to donate new items of clothing/toys and gift cards as they celebrated at the annual Holidady Party. Items were donated to A Women's Place. This organization provides shelter to women and children who have been abused. The donations will allow the residents to exchange gifts with their family members during the holiday season.
Food Drive, ongoing
The Yardley office collected food during the Thanksgiving season and donated it to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. The Lawrenceville office has an ongoing food drive in which a local charity donates the food to families in need that live in the area.
Transform Crossfit Workshop, June, 2011
Dr. Clancey and Bryan Haig held a workshop at the facility which is located in Pennington, NJ. There was no charge for the session. Participants were taught foam roller exercises and stretches. They said the workout was tough but worth it. If you'd like more information about the gym, you can check them out at www.transformcrossfit.com
Twisted Sistas Sponsorship, Spring - Fall, 2011
Twisted Sistas is a 14 member women's softball team. The members are all veteran players. Jane and Susan, long time patients, brought the women together and formed this first year team. The practice will provide TLC with taping, stretching, massage and adjustments. Some of the team members played in the Women's World Series Tournament which was held in Philadelphia in August. Congratulations! We look forward to following their progress again next season.
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Foundation, ongoing
The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to support patient care initiatives and capital projects for RWJ Hamilton and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Hamilton. Dr. Jeff Clancey is a member of the Foundation's Young Professionals Group which organizes and hosts events that encourage community participation and support.
Anchor House Ride for Runaways, ongoing
Anchor House, located in Trenton, NJ, provides a haven for abused and troubled children. Each year in July, they hold a grueling 500 mile bike trip to raise money for the facility. CHCC and CBCPT contribute on a yearly basis and also help sponsor employees and their family members who ride in the event.
