MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Richard L. Berkowitz, FACO, is a graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic where he also attained a Master's degree in Sports Health Science. He is a Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and is designated as a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). Dr. Berkowitz is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, a method used by doctors treating injuries on professionial and Olympic athletes. He is a Titelist Performance Institute Level 2 Medical Professional, helping golfers remove physical limitations to improve their game. In addition to his segment on NBC's morning show, Dr. Berkowitz was recently featured in an article in the industry's leading journal the American Chiropractic Association News. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association and the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors. Dr. Jeffrey M. Clancey, FACO, is a graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic, where in addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he also attained a Master's degree in Sports Health Science. Dr. Clancey specializes in athletic injury (from youth level to professional athletes), medico-legal cases, personal injury, worker’s compensation, and general practice. He is certified in Active Release Technique which is a state of the art soft tissue system which treats problems with muscles, tendons, fascia, nerves, and ligaments. Dr. Clancey is a Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and is designated as a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, and ANJC Sports Chiropractors. Dr. Mathieu Lentine is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He also has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science which he received from Rutgers University. Dr. Lentine is certified in both the Graston and Active Release Techniques, types of myofacial and soft tissue therapies. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is also certified as a Mobility and Level One Crossfit Trainer. Dr. Lentine is a long time endurance athlete competing in events from 5k to marathon and sprint distance triathlon to the Ironman. He worked in a chiropractic office in New York, before moving back to this area.
MEET OUR STAFF
Bryan Haig, MSPT, Director of Physical Therapy, received his Master's Degree from Long Island University in 1998. He directed two facilities in Manhattan until relocating to the New Jersey area in 2002. Bryan has extensive rehabilitation experience in the treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries. He is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, a method used by doctors treating injuries on professionial and Olympic athletes. He has attended numerous continuing education seminars for the diagnosis and treatment of the spine and extremities. Bryan especially welcomes opportunities to coordinate treatment with other health care practitioners in complimentary practices such as chiropractic care, massage therapy, and nutritional consulting. Dee Juno, Clinical Coordinator, PTA, is a graduate of Mercer County Community College's Physical Therapy Assistant program. Dee works with patients in the PT area. She joined our practice in 2001 and has a long standing relationship with our patients. Click here for more information about Dee Juno.
Jill Settembrino, Director of Operations, BA, CPT, joined CH&CC in March 2006 as the rehab/orthotics consultant. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Jennifer Hoch, Billing Manager, joined our practice in 2007 and oversees all aspects of billing for CHCC. She is always available to discuss any billing or insurance questions with our patients. Before joining our practice, Jennifer worked for a large hospital and outpatient facility and has over 15 years of medical billing management experience.
Kari Steckley, BA, Site Manager, in our Lawrenceville office. She heads the front desk area and is responsible for billing for that office. Before joining the practice she worked as a Program Coordinator and Health Educator at a weight loss center in Princeton.
Kaitlyn Wagner sits behind the front desk in the Lawrenceville office evenings and weekends. She is a college student majoring in Health and Exercise Science.
Terri Graham sits at the front desk on a part-time basis in the Yardley office. Her friendly face is familiar to many of our patients because she is a stylist in a nearby salon.
Alison Carpenter, NCMT, is a nationally certifed massage therapist and is a graduate of Somerset School of Massage. She provides a deep muscle massage and our "weekend warriors" appreciate her work on Monday mornings.
Kathy Pfender, CMT, received her certification from Professional School of Massage Therapy. Patients with low back and neck pain especially appreciate her touch.
Gwen Shaffer, BA, Clinical Coordinator, works as a Chiropractic Assistant and trains people new to that position. She manages our website and PR projects. Gwen is also a certified nutrition counselor and manages our Metagenics supplements program.
